Born in New Jersey, my family and I moved to Flagler County when I was 5 years old. I grew up in Flagler Beach and absolutely loved the beach views, golden sand and small-town feel. I just knew this is where I wanted to spend my life. I graduated from Flagler Palm Coast High School in 1993. After high school, I enjoyed my life fishing and traveling until I met my beautiful wife, Ketrin and married in 2006. In between fishing, traveling and working I felt the need to help people and teach them on how they can achieve one of the greatest accomplishments in life…becoming a homeowner. So I went on to open up American Home Mortgage in 2003 and have been passionate ever since about helping others learn about mortgages and making their dreams come true. Although, when I’m not helping customers become homeowners or helping them refinance to save them money, I spend my time with my wife and two boys—Mason and Jaxson! I look forward to helping you with all your mortgage needs, so please do not hesitate to call, text or email.

Are you looking for a reliable and professional mortgage professional? Well, that’s BORING! What about someone who is completely invested in YOU, your financial concerns and will not quit until you’re not only satisfied, but HAPPY with the service you receive? If you live in Northeast Florida and surrounding areas, then look no further than Rick Vaders for your financial needs.

I can’t wait to chat with you and create a successful plan to help you achieve your dreams.

As a mortgage and financial professional, my goal is clear: I’m dedicated to solving my clients’ problems. Those problems include helping my clients achieve their mortgage-related goals, getting their retirement, savings or debt issues in order and under control, and helping real estate agents generate new referrals and grow their business using my uniquely developed marketing strategies and tactics. Basically, you could say that I’m the “go-to” resource for solving real-life problems, and I’m constantly providing my clients with helpful advice, direction and value added services – because that’s what they expect from me, and it’s what I expect from myself!

And just as importantly, I never “diagnose and prescribe” solutions for my clients and leave them confused, anxious and unsure of what’s going on. Instead, I educate, empower and enable my clients every step of the way. I want them to be involved in the problem-solving process and feel that they’re part of the team – and of course, have FUN at the same time!

As I’m sure you can see, I bring my personality to my work and into my clients’ lives – whether those clients are individuals, families, or Real Estate professionals. My clients consider me a trusted friend and a valued part of their extended family, and quite honestly, that’s the greatest compliment they can ever pay me. It’s also the expectation that I set for myself with every client, every time! It’s safe to say my reviews speak for themselves.

I serve all of Florida, and we do more than just conventional loans! Some of our specialties include:

– Conventional 3% down and up

– FHA loans

– Loans for Veterans

– Loans for community hero’s (policemen, firemen, doctors, nurses, teachers, etc.)

– Jumbo financing

And if you have a “can’t-wait” concern, please feel free to ring me at 386-264-5772

Though Mike was born in Newark, New Jersey, he moved to Ormond Beach, Florida in 1982, at the age of 6. So, for all intents and purposes, he’s a Floridian. As a graduate of Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach, Mike was involved in a multitude of clubs and sports but was most successful as a swimmer. He was captain of the track and swimming teams and was also president of his national honor society and editor of the school newspaper. Mike went on to attend the University of Florida, where he played water polo for the Gators, and graduated with a Degree in Classical Studies, focusing on ancient Greek and Roman civilizations. After college, in the year 2000, Mike moved to Flagler Beach to work for a local title company. Working for the title company, was what got Mike into the Real Estate Industry and instilled in him a thorough knowledge of the entire real estate process and all the little nuances that go along with the business. After 11 years at the title company performing real estate searches and closings, it was time for a change. Leaving the title company, Mike ventured into the Mortgage Industry, where he has been since 2011.

Mike is also heavily involved in his local community. He has been on the Economic Development Task Force for the City of Flagler Beach since 2009 and helps with numerous charitable events in both the city and county. Mike has 3 children, a son, and 2 daughters. As for hobbies, Mike has been surfing his entire life and enjoys that over everything. He also still plays soccer and tennis and enjoys running and jogging in the mornings. One thing that most people don’t know about Mike is that he plays guitar and writes music. He released an album in the beginning of 2018 called “Everything in Between”.

Mike loves his job because he truly feels that he is helping people attain their dreams of homeownership and it is his mission to educate people with the details of the mortgage process, so they are comfortable and confident, and they can take that knowledge with them for the rest of their lives.

Hi! I’m Josh, the Florida Mortgage Dude. After growing up in Central Arkansas and moving to Flagler County in 2002, I fell in love with the Volusia and Flagler area. I attended Daytona State College and married my high school sweetheart in 2010. We have started a family here and a sense of community is very important to me. I have served on various boards and volunteered in organizations that give back to the community. My primary focus in the mortgage business is to provide exceptional customer service and to make the loan process as enjoyable as possible. I have a video series that answers mortgage FAQs and my goal is to educate home buyers so they can feel confident in their mortgage decisions.
